I'm currently a software engineer at Bloomberg. I'm passionate about using my skills as a developer to optimize and improve sustainable technology. Every day I challenge myself to be a better developer because the more I know as a software engineer, the greater impact I can have.
I work on an internal team that is responsible for all software that employees use to interface with all physical spaces as well as the internal calendar system that sees hundreds of thousands of hits a day. We use a variety of technologies that include C#, Python, C++, and JavaScript.
I developed an Android application which catalogs military assets with 97% accuracy using machine vision after being awarded $5,000 contract with U.S military and partner organizations as a winner of SD Hacks 2017. My work ended up reducing their inventory processing time by 40% by eliminating an antiquated paper based system.
